My Story with MBCAA
Updated: 7 days ago

On World Metastatic Breast Cancer Day, MBC Action Australia shared my story as part of their MBC Hub.
I was grateful for the opportunity to talk about my experience of living with Stage 4 breast cancer, and what life looks like beyond a diagnosis that changes everything.
I share my story not because I believe it is extraordinary, but because I know how important it is for people living with metastatic breast cancer to see and hear from others navigating the same uncertainty.
There is still so much life happening alongside treatment. There are families, careers, ordinary days, plans for the future and the determination to keep living fully.
Thank you to MBC Action Australia for giving people living with metastatic breast cancer a platform to be seen and heard.
I also want to encourage anyone living with Stage 4 breast cancer in Australia, along with their families, partners and carers, to visit the MBC Hub.
It brings together valuable information, practical tools, resources and support specifically for people navigating metastatic breast cancer.
It is the kind of resource I wish had existed when I was first diagnosed. Somewhere to turn when everything feels overwhelming, when you don't know what questions to ask, or even where to begin.
Whether you're newly diagnosed, have been living with metastatic breast cancer for years, or are supporting someone you love, I genuinely encourage you to explore it.
