I stare at my sons more than I used to. They are old enough to notice now.

Recently, on World Cancer Day, I was invited to share publicly a small part of our story, how we told our children about my cancer diagnosis, and why we waited.

The day I learned I had cancer, the life that followed, and why I still choose hope.
